  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

ISAPI_Rewrite Helicontech APE?

Hi,

We have Plesk 9.5.2 with Helicon's ISAPI_Rewrite 3 on a Windows 2003 64-bit IIS6 server.

We are putting the finishing touches on Plesk 10.0.1 and wanted to know if anyone has used Helicontech's ISAPI_Rewrite 3 with Plesk 10.0.1 and Windows 2008 R2 64-bit?

I was also considering upgrading to Helicontech Ape but not sure if that will work better or worse than ISAPI_Rewrite (it adds some other functions).

Thanks,

Nathan

I'm actually trying to install Helicontech Ape with Plesk 12.5 I did have to install it manually on the server and not through plesk, but when I attempt to set the permissions for the psadmin and one other to have accesses to the ape folder the iis permissions are greyed out. My host is Godaddy and their technical help for managed servers is minimal at best. So far no luck
