• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Issue with Outgoing Spam-Mail

Tim H.

New Pleskian
Hello guys!

I've been using Plesk for a few days, and it works great! However, the email function doesn't work. The problem is that POP3, IMAP & SMTP are not encrypted even though I have installed an SSL certificate. The emails go out, but they end up in the spam folder.

These are my Settings

And no the Domain isn't blacklisted. I tested it with multiple Domains.

I would be grateful if you could help me.

The "Configuration found at email provider" is bad. Go to "Manual config" and switch to SSL.
That is a thunderbird settings problem, not a plesk one.

Also, it has nothing to do with sent mails going into the spam folder.
That is another issue: You have activated DKIM.
For that to work, the domain keys must be accessible through DNS.
It seems you are using ovh.net's DNS servers for your domain(s).
In that case, you must copy the _domainkey, default._domainkey and _dmarc entries from https://<yourpleskdomain>:8443/smb/dns-zone/records-list/id/d:1 etc. to the ovh dns admin panel.

Try dkimvalidator.com to check whether your setup is correct.
