• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

If your operating system is CentOS 8: That was end of life last year and cannot be updated. Migrate to AlmaLinux instead.

Hi,
thanks for the replay.
Pls tell me how can i do it?
its a safe procedure?
Can i do it via Plesk?
the server must reboot?
Thanks

Yes, just because I am a new user I am bit anxious.
My server is not Centos 8.4 or 8.5
The one is

CentOS Linux 8.2.2004 (Core)
and the other
CentOS Linux 7.9.2009 (Core)
so what i must do first, update them to 8.5?
How can i do that?
or i can install Almalinux at once?
Thanks

Currently, there is no safe way to do an in-place upgrade from CentOS 7.9 to AlmaLinux. We think there will be by the middle of 2023.

For an update from CentOS 8.2 to AlmaLinux, first do an upgrade to CentOS 8.5 (which should be very easy with yum update, then yum upgrade). Afterwards follow instructions on the EL to AlamLlinux migration tool page. If you are unsure, it may be good to hire an experience administrator.

Where I can find an experienced plesk administrator to hire?
You have something or someone you would suggest?
Thanks
