• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,
Im new in Plesk, so sorrry for my question.
I have bought dedicate server with plesk+CentOS for my Prestashops. I would like to install Prestashop, but I get message :"This application need you to activate Javascript to correctly work"
how can i get javascript to my server? I see here some information about Tomcat. It is only one solution? Or does exist any other (cheeper) solution?

Thank you Dusan

Did you try to install JDK and JRE packages from OS vendor repository?

Hello Igor,
thank you for tip.
Now its looking java is installed, but I dont know how to control it and how to enable it, because on the prestashop I haveh the same information.

Hello,
So now I have installed Java (via SSH), Tomcat (via SSH),
but I dont see posibility how to enable Java in Plesk panel.
Can anybody help me?

The original post was about JavaScript, not Java. They are two totally different technologies, despite their names. JavaScript is usually used as a client-side technology and that error message does not sound like a server-side problem. Maybe you just disabled JavaScript in your browser? Otherwise I'd contact Prestashops support.
