• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

It is different php which serves the Plesk Panel itself (sw-engine)
Code:
# sw-engine -v
PHP 5.4.16 (cli)
Customers sites served by php from OS vendor repository:
Code:
# php -v
PHP 5.3.3 (cli)

I am having the same issue. Joomla now requires PHP 5.3.10 or above and the Joomla 5.3.3 is installed. I rely mostly on Plesk to keep the server components up to date and now I can't update my Joomla websites. I tend to avoid working at the command prompt, which is why I lease Plesk. I see that Plesk supports dual (or multiple) PHP versions, but the panel doesn't seem to deploy other versions. Is Parallels working on a fix for this, cause I need a solutions ASAP?
