  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Lets Encrypt mostly works, but https://www not working

John Walker

New Pleskian
I have a number of domains hosted by my VPS, and I find that when I create a certificate for any of them through the extension, https:// subsequently works fine but https://www does not at all. (I ticked the checkbox for also including www in the certificate). Https://www gets a "SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT" in Firefox, which is the most informative result.

Prior to using letsencrypt the unsecured domains worked but http://www would automatically redirect to http://. I have tried turning this off by setting preferred to "none", but it didn’t appear to work.

I am a bit stumped about what to do next as it appears to affect any domain I install a certificate against on my server.

Plesk v12.5.30_build1205150826.19 os_CentOS 6
