• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

In one of my domains I have 35 gb of log files. This keeps knocking my hosting account offline as it I am going over my storage space. How do I remove these files and turn this functionality off or reduce it or do something as I have a 50 gb account and only 9 gb of this space is being used for my own stuff. Thank you!

Jon

Hi,

Switch on log rotation for your domain at log management page.

Hi,

9 G is a huge log file.

All logfiles should be below 1G.

Docs say that stats are not running ok over 2 G(webalizer). My opinion is that they get problems arround 1 G.

Anyway G sized logfiles are huge and log rotation should be applied. If you have a very-very-very high trafficed site you can run statistics twice a day (can be managed from the crontab)
