• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi There,

I've some strange problem, when we need to change some e-mail acount password we have the following error:

- Error: The user account was not found. This could happen if the user account was removed by someone else while you were changing its settings.

But we can change it directly in the server.

Thanks.

What Plesk version you have? As far as I know this problem has been fixed in 10.2 version.

Hi There,

I have the version 10.2.0 and still the problem.

Thanks.

Silence, could you please provide ssh access to your Plesk (send it with private message)? Problem occurs because of database non-consistency that may be caused by manual editing or product bug.

This is a Windows PLESK in production...whats details do you need?

Thanks.

Need for clear steps to reproduce the problem. Now Plesk 10.2 has no such problem.
May be user manually was removed from Plesk database?
