• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Mail being sent from root@fqdn.

New Pleskian
I noticed in my Mailenable logs that everytime a scheduled task is run from Plesk it is attempting to send an email from root@FQDN (for example if the Plesk server is example.plesk.com it is sending email from root@example.plesk.com) however I don't see where that is set anywhere and I currently do not have any MX records or a mailbox for that account. Are these records suppose to be set and is there suppose to be a mailbox for this account? Or is there a way to change the sender account? I believe my server was caught in a RBL because of these emails being that there is no configuration for that FQDN.

*EDIT*
I have found where the email is originating, it's the Autoinstaller for Plesk attempting to send an email with the subject "Parallels Panel was successfully updated" to the administrator email address from root@fqdn of the server.
