Resolved Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender

Hi All,

When I'm trying to email several customers on my plesk server I get bounces back from mail.com and facebook.
They state:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of
its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es)
failed:

xxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xxx
non-existent domain


Current applicatoins installed is Dovecot and Postfix.
Local DNS is disabled and the email domains are reachable and SPF properly set

Does the error apply to all customers and addresses you send to or only to specific ones?

For me, it looks like the recipient has a very aggressive spam filter. But that's just a guess.

Its with all customers and all email addresses.
But it is an inbound issue. Its when I'm doing tests from mail.com or facebook.com.

Gmail works fine.
I'm quiet lost on this issue

Have you set up any A or MX-records?

Yes, all is setup fine. Also tested and confirmed by mxtoolbox.
Some say its port 25 which is giving back:
502 5.5.2 Error: command not recognized

Causing callbacks to fail.

Yes they are all fine.
When I mail from mail.com --> customer + my own gmail address, it only arrives at my gmail. When I reply the gmail address to customer + mail.com address it arrives at both.

Also I disabled fail2ban on the server

In every way your description of the problem fails to give us the relevant information.

Post some output of the mail.log file and explain what you are exactly doing (sending a mail from script, which script, which code etc.) and specify all that could be relevant.

Also, you can send me a private message in Dutch, if that is more easy for you.

I managed to fix the issue!
The my_networks in postfix was incorrect.
It contained 2 incorrect IP addresses. After correcting these and restarting postfix all is working

For the sake of completeness: the mynetworks variable in /etc/postfix/main.cf is blank in a default Plesk Postfix setup.

It can hardly be the case that these variables are set by some process, so you should really check what is changed in comparison to Plesk's default config.
