• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Mail pop & map down after last plesk update.

Basic Pleskian
Got a Plesk update a few nights ago & all seemed well but rebooted my server last night & courier map & pop services will not start with errors of:
courier-pop3d: bind: Address already in use
courier-pop3s: bind: Address already in use
courier-imapd: bind: Address already in use
courier-imaps: bind: Address already in use

Smtp appears to be working fine & just can't get any mail in.

OS ‪CentOS 6.7 (Final)‬
Plesk version 12.5.30 Update #15

Anyone else had a similar issue since the last update or even earlier updates as I haven't rebooted the server for quite a while.

Kill corresponding processes and try to start them again.

Stopped
smtp postfix
Courier IMAP authentication daemon
DNS Server (BIND)
Plesk milter (Postfix)

but still cannot start pop & imap

Is that what you meant for me to do?

Cant help thinking this is something to do with the problem:

WARNING: key file (/etc/rndc.key) exists, but using default configuration file (/etc/rndc.conf)

Got this after running "service named status"

I was wrong.
moved the rndc.key file to another location & restarted Bind, error now gone but still cannot start mail pop or imap.

Looks like I was right in that it was the rndc.key file, but restarting the service didn't work but a reboot did.
