Hello,

I am receiving mail instantly in my inbox after the mail is sent, but mail receive mark the mail as 4hrs ago?

For example, I sent mail from user@domain.com to user@gmail.com

When checking the mail at user@gmail.com, the mail says that the mail was sent (4 hours ago) even though it was sent and recieved instantly.

Someone know how to fix this?

Thanks.

Well it did not work.

Here is the email I got from server instantly, but showing 4 hours ago.

Received: from server.net (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1])
by server.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 577A86D81297
for <user@gmail.com>; Mon, 8 Aug 2011 00:28:19 -0400 (EDT)
Received: from localhost (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1])
by server.net (Postfix) with ESMTP
for <user@gmail.com>; Mon, 8 Aug 2011 00:28:19 -0400 (EDT)
MIME-Version: 1.0
Date: Mon, 08 Aug 2011 04:28:19 +0000

As you see above, thats part of the message I received.

The time is showing Mon, 8 Aug 2011 00:28:19 -0400 (EDT), and receive time is 04:28:19 +0000

That is where the 4hr difference is.....

I dont know why that is.

I can try changing server time, but it might fix it for me, but what about others in different time zones, it will be same problem.

Will switching to qmail help?
