• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hey :)

You are not alone with that problem... just check the mailenable forums and you'll find a huge thread about that...
so it's no Plesk Issue but a Mailenable Issue...

We had it here ourselves; upgrading to the newest Mailenable (for our side here below 2.0 as that wasn't yet available when we had the problem) fixed it right away :)

No problems since then...

Good luck ;)

Quendi,

I had the same issue about a month ago when one morning POP3 services began to fail on all my server, one by one.

The solution was to upgrade to the latest version on MailEnable (Standard or Professional, depending on the current version you have installed). You can download it from http://mailenable.com/download.asp

I'm not sure if this is related, but in the version for the Standard edition (http://mailenable.com/standardhistory.asp) you can see the latest updates:
Release 1.981 - 18th Dec 2006
Fixed: Security vulnerability with MailEnable POP Service (hotfix ME-10026).
Fixed: The services have been updated to include additional checking/prevention against exploitation through any unforseen buffer overflow vulnerabilities.
