• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

mailmng --add-alias not working

New Pleskian
Hello there,

We're trying to add using an automatic script few aliases to our server with the lasted version of Plesk. But it is not working, as it is returning an empty respond.

[root@dns01 ~]# cd /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/
[root@dns01 bin]# ./mailmng --add-alias --domain-name=domain.com --mailname=abuse --alias=abuso
[root@dns01 bin]#

Any suggestion? I checked all the logs and I can not found any information related.

I can confirm that the alias is not registered or created.

Thank you,

Larry

We do not recommend to use internal Plesk commands from /psa/admin/(s)bin/
Please use commands from /psa/bin/
For example, command

# /usr/local/psa/bin/mail -u abuse@domain.com -aliases add:abuso

works fine.
