  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Manually add IP to fail2ban ip-table list

chris_cross

New Pleskian
I had the problem, that on one of my servers there I experienced unwanted mails, that could not be handled by the individual spam filter. As I wanted to exclude a bunch of IP from communication with the mail system I simply added the IP to "fail2ban-plesk-postfix" chain. I expected the IP to show up on the fail2ban list that plesk offeres so that it easily could get removed via the web interface, but my entries did not show up.

Is there a possibility to get IP´s manageable via the fail2ban GUI?

(of course I could use the blacklist function of the mail system, but then I still got traffic on my system)

Thanks

Chris
