  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Maybe Im stupid but....

New Pleskian
Hi Guys,
Someone in my team uninstalled backup manager. My question is : if we reinstall backup manager on server, will the updates I have on my local drive will work after I upload them?
Sorry it's silly but I hope our backups on local drive will still work we don't have any on server.
Thanks for your help :)

What kind of updates you mean? Microupdates?

Sorry Sergey I meant backups: someone uninstalled backup manager from plesk. Now all we have are backups on our local drive. The question is if we reinstall back up manager on plesk and if we upload our backup file (tar) on server, will the back up work?
Or uninstalling Backup Manager forces you to recreate new backups because backups made before uninstall of Backup Manager don't work anymore after reinstall of Backup Manager?
Thanks for your input :)

Hi, reinstalling Backup Manager doesn't break your existing backups. You can even restore backup on different Plesk server if you need to.
