• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Running mchk gives the following error repeatedly:

(trace)maildirpp_usage.c:182:dir entry '..'
(trace)maildirpp_usage.c:182:dir entry '.'
(trace)maildirpp_usage.c:182:dir entry 'maildirsize'
(trace)maildirpp_usage.c:182:dir entry 'cur'
(trace)maildirpp_usage.c:182:dir entry 'new'
(trace)maildirpp_usage.c:182:dir entry 'tmp'
(trace)maildirpp_usage.c:209:done reading Maildir folder

Any insights into this error appreciated. It is preventing the mail configs from being rebuilt correctly.

Just curious if this is normal output on 8.3 now? There was a site blocking the utility from completing.

mchk errors

Hello,

I had a similar issue, but my error output was more clearly defined to particular mailboxes.
If you are getting errors on certain mailboxes.

Run the command

find /var/qmail/mailnames -type d -name '.*' -a -not -name '.spamassassin' -exec touch '{}'/maildirfolder \; -exec chown popuser.popuser '{}'/maildirfolder \;

Then run

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk -v

:)
