  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

MCrypt Question

I have PHP compiled with "--with-mcrypt=shared" and it compiled fine... However none of the mcrypt functions are working... Any ideas on what/where I should check?

Thanks

You've probably not installed php-mcrypt ;)

rpm -qa|grep mcrypt

Same problem here.

Installed rpm's:

php-mcrypt-4.4.0-3.rhel3.art
php-4.4.0-3.rhel3.art

Yet, phpinfo doesn't show mcrypt.

Is this a buggy version?

installed RPM's

libmcrypt-devel-2.5.7-1.rhel3.art
libmcrypt-2.5.7-1.rhel3.art

Looks like you're right.

I had the libmcrypt rpms too:

# rpm -qa | grep mcrypt
php-mcrypt-4.4.0-3.rhel3.art
libmcrypt-devel-2.5.7-1.rhel3.art
libmcrypt-2.5.7-1.rhel3.art
