• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Mdaemon Webmail

How do i enable mdaemon webmail inside plesk? So far it only supports only these:

Web Mail * Horde IMP H3 (4.0.1)
IceWarp Web Mail (not installed)
MailEnable Web Client (not installed)
SmarterMail Web Client (not installed)

I am also facing the same issue. I can access MDaemon's Webmail by directly accessing it (http://www.domain.com:3000) but as the above mentioned, Plesk does not have an option to make it the default email client for the user.

Yeah man..is there any way to change the control panel codes ourselves to support the changes?
So far my workaround is to go to IIS and right click on the webmail (Default) -> Properties -> Home Directory -> change radio btn to a redirection to a URL -> http://domain.com:3000/

This way at least users can type webmail.domain.com to go to their webmail login.

That is a good idea but I'm surprised that Plesk doesnt have this built-in

i have talked to altn about the getting webmail to work with plesk and there appears to be a permissions issue. every time i try to to go "www.domain.com/webmail" i get prompted for username/password(NOT THE WEBMAIL SCREEN). even though i fallowed the directions that altn gives for setting it up with IIS. even altn could not get it to work.

As far as I know mdaemon webmail support will be added in 8.3
Also note, that any Plek reconfiguration will alter manually set configuration
