  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

"Microsoft.IdenityModel.dll" - access denied

New Pleskian
I am using Plesk 12 and this happend a few times already:
Plesk seems to add its two "default groups" (psacln and psaserv) to the security rights of this dll with "deny all" and so my app does not work anymore until I remove that again.

The Dll is located somewhere in C:\Windows\winsxs\msil_microsoft.identitymodel_31bf3856ad364e35_7.1.7600.16394_none_6757fcc4a98759f9

Why/when is Plesk doing this and more importantly how can I stop this?

regards
CFI
