Migrate from 7.5.4 to 8.0

Hi,

is there a secure way to migrate from an RedHat FC2 running with Plesk 7.5.4 to a Suse 8.0 running with Plesk 8.0?
Plesk 8.0 does not recognise the backup from the older version - and I heard using the migration manager is not safe at all!?

Do you have any proposals?

The backup is not working b/c you are probably using a 7.5 backup on an 8.0 psa box.

In this case I would recommend using the migration manager. I have had many painless, successful PMM runs.
