• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Migrate from one to the other but keep ip-addresses

erhnam

Basic Pleskian
I have a question. I want to migrate my domains from one server to the other but I want to keep the existing ip-addresses. When both servers are connected to the internet I have a problem: ip-conflict. After the migration I want to shutdown the old server. The reason I want to do it this way is because I don't want to change ip's and dns for 300+ domains. What's the best solution for this problem?

Change the IP of the old machine and assign the IP you want to keep on the new machine.

If you use the migration manager, use the old servers new temporary IP for the host and you will be migrating to the same IP, thus maintaining your DNS structure, etc.

Good luck..
