Migrating Plesk 8 Apps to Plesk 9.3

I have 23 servers to migrate from Plesk 8.x to Plesk 9.3 for Linux. It seems that older site applications just won't come over even after syncing the servers. Here is the command to do so that I had to pay for:

-bash-3.2# rsync -avz root@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/usr/local/psa/var/cgitory/ /usr/local/psa/var/cgitory

The problem is that sites with Gallery 2.0 won't come over. Coppermine 1.3. There are others. The entire migration process is a nightmare that I do not recommend for any host.

What steps can I take to resolve these issues?

Could you please provide error messages related to this problem from migration logs when you try to use usual domains migration procedure with migration manager without mentioned rsyncing?

As I see you have open ticket #852220: OFS: Per Incident Support - 1263369479-32541-396550 now regarding this problem. I think that support team will help you more effectively there with direct access on your servers.

No. They have insisted that I open (and pay for) a new ticket for each issue. Are you telling me that you won't provide support through your forums and that I have to pay for support?

old apps dont moved to the new server under installed applications.

I had to pay to open a support ticket when no one responded here. I still have 15 servers to migrate but have a young daughter that is very sick. I've had to set aside work.

Nonetheless, part of the solution is to look at the applications being USED on the source server. Then go to the destination server and you will find that many of them are available to install from the Web Applications menu. Not all of them can be installed because they are far outdated -- and you don't want old applications that are security risks anyway -- or the application won't run on PHP 5 or mySQL 4/5 or whatever. You can force them to come over but they won't run.

You may sync applications also by running:

rsync -avz root@source_IP:/usr/local/psa/var/cgitory/ /usr/local/psa/var/cgitory

i dont opened a ticket at the moment. i moved the OLD applications via rsync and dont get this errors.
with this way, i cant reconfgiure the app in the domains i moved...only remove.

it dont exist a clean method to move the apps?
