• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

MIgration from 9.5.5 to 10.3

New Pleskian
Hi,
Could you please tell me how much time will it take to transfer 100 domains from ver 9.5.5 to 10.3?

Is there any best practice document for migration which give some guideline before starting the migration.

Thank You

Thanks for your reply.

Actually we have inititated the process of migration and it took over month time to complete. We have experienced different issues during migration and we've to take the migration in multiple steps after consulting with Parallel Support team.

After so many problems the migration of all accounts is complete but the new server has outdated data. What is the best way to update/sync the new server before we swith over to new server?

Btw all this process is done under supervision of our datacenter staff and they're handling all matters but we're not satisfy with the overall progress. We have concern over outdated data and we can not switch over to new server until new server is sync with old server (incl website, emails and all settings of users).

Please give us some solution for this situation and share the best practice of migration as well.

Thank You
