  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Migration Manager does not keep 'apache' ownership/permissions

cmaxwell

Regular Pleskian
We have just migrated a bunch of sites from Plesk 9.5.4 to 10.4.4 using Plesk Migration Manager and for sites where a directory and/or files are owned by 'apache' this was lost on the target host and reset to the domain owner's account with 755 permissions. This results in web applications being unable to write to directories, etc.

Is this a known issue and will it be fixed in a future update to PMM?

Thanks,

Chris
