• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Migration Manager troubles

New Pleskian
Hello,

Got an old parallels server which started as version 9 and has been upgrading over the time until now to version 11.5.30, the hardware of the machine is slow for current number of customers and we are moving it into new Hardware, got a new server with version 11.5.30 (same MU as the old one) and im trying to migrate all the info with Migration Manager, but im having some troubles. The first I did was try to migrate only 3 or 4 customers to view the speed of the process and see if It would work or not, the results of this first Migration:

  1. - Migration of 4 manually selected customers/resellers:
  • No Service plans were migrated, all subscriptions had "Customized" as service plan.
  • One of the customers had a subscription with only email without Hosting enabled, this one the customer was created but without subscription.

  • After checking this results I tried to migrate the whole server (about 50 customers) (but checking the mark of excluding server config), the results:
  • No Service plans were migrated, all subscriptions had "Customized" as service plan.
  • All customers without Hosting, the ones with only email enabled are created without subscription, so they are not working on the new server without manually create the subscription.
  • 2 normal customers with Hosting subscription as many others are missing also de subscription, the customer is created but no subscription assigned to them.

The Migration Manager in both cases reports successfull migration.
