  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

migration server - licence status

Regular Pleskian
Hi

I am migrating my server box to a brand new box (w RAID) as suggested by my ISP.
On the actual box I have a running Plesk licence (10 domains) to run my small businesses...

I installed a brand new Debian OS on the new box w Plesk 9.2.3 initial 1 licence
during the migration phase (max. 1 mo) I'll transfer the running site fromone box to the other, so I'll need to transfer my Plesk 10 domains licence...

How should I proceed ? I cannot run the same key on the 2 boxes...

thanks for your info

You can request trial license for new server from your sales representative, install it and perform migration. After that you can install permanent license on new server.

migration

no problem, I'll get a new license (over 10) for the new server then I'll cancel the previous one
