• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Migrations Manager doesn't respond

Basic Pleskian
I trying to move a bunch of domains from my Linux machine to my Windows server. Plesk 8.1 is installed on the Linux Server. Plesk 8.1 also installed on the Windows Server.

I'm able to connect the first time and also able to make a selection (full migration of individual). When I press next on the IP Mapping page the message "Please Wait... Loading..." pops up and never goes away. I tried this multiple times. It is possible to make a direct connection to Mysql (one of the requirements). The system also has it's unique ip-addresses. What could be wrong?

migration domain list fetching is really very slow process.

i would recommend you test for single domain first if that goes well then try full.

also check migration.log file under PMM folder on your windows.

make sure you disable Antivirus and firewall settings for some ports needed to PMM for migration.

i have just finished my migration from linux to windows successfully for some domains and very soon i am planning to migrate my 400+ domains phasewise not full to my windows server with smartermail.

hope this helps.
