  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Dear all,

I miss the upgrade instructions (2.1.0 to 2.1.1) in the release notes for the latest release 2.1.1.

Is the procedure the same like for a plain installation?

Here is information from release notes (as an example for RH 9):
To install SiteBuilder correctly the following command must be used:
rpm -Uhv Sitebuilder-2.1.1-rh9.build051014.20.i386.rpm

In order for installation modules to work correctly, the following
command must be used:
rpm -Uhv sitebuilder_module-???-1.1.0-rh9.build051014.20.i386.rpm

I can suggest you to backup Sitebuilder database and user sites. You can use Sitebuilder Backup feature from Extra.

After you upgraded Sitebuilder package you will get installation form which should be completed every time when you install/upgrade Sitebuilder.
I hope this information will help you.
