  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Mod Rewrite issue

LloydD

Basic Pleskian
Hi guys,
I think this is fairly simple but I just wanted confirmation, I keep getting this error..

Options FollowSymLinks or SymLinksIfOwnerMatch is off which implies that RewriteRule directive is forbidden: /var/www/vhosts/my-domain.com/httpsdocs/folder/index.pl

I tried this - http://www.vbseo.com/f77/options-fo...mplies-rewriterule-directive-forbidden-30144/

Specifically this ..
<Files ~ (\.pl)>
Options ExecCGI FollowSymLinks
</Files>

Options +FollowSymLinks +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch

But that was already there in an htaccess file in /var/www/vhosts/my-domain.com/httpdocs

The only other reference I can find is in the /var/www/vhosts/my-domain.com/conf/http.include

<Directory /var/www/vhosts/my-domain.com/httpsdocs>
<IfModule mod_perl.c>
<Files ~ (\.pl$)>
SetHandler perl-script
PerlHandler ModPerl::Registry
Options ExecCGI
allow from all
PerlSendHeader On
</Files>
</IfModule>

Should I add the "FollowSymLinks" here so "Options ExecCGI FollowSymLinks"
Is that right?
I am running Ubuntu 8.04 and Plesk 9.5.4.
Thanks in advance for any help
Kind regards

Lloyd
