  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Move Wordpress (connected to Toolkit) to another domain/customer

Bjorn

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

Normally we develop our websites on a subdomain and after completion move it to the destination domain. How can we do this using the WP Toolkit to create the site?

If this is not possible, how do you suggest we handle this, when the domain is not (yet) pointing to our server? The Preview website option in Plesk is not a good solution.

Question 2

When I add a site to the Toolkit using 'scan', the administrator can see the WP Toolkit options (like login) on the 'Websites & Domains' page, but the customer does not? Only when the site is created using the Toolkit, the customer can login using the Toolkit? Is this normal behaviour?

Thanks!

Regards,
Bjorn
