• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Moving a backup from the Server Repository to the FTP Repository

ComNet

New Pleskian
I scheduled my backups on Plesk 10.0.1 to be archived on an FTP Server and they run regularly. I have several backups on the local archive and I want to transfer them on the FTP repository, but on the CP's interface there's no direct way to do this. Can you tell me which files do I have to move manually to the remote archive from the (I guess) /var/lib/psa/dumps directory?
Thanks,

Marco

This is an issue that i very interested in as well

I've been wondering about this myself. Please count me in on wanting an answer.

No answers??

This is now a big item on my wishlist. If a transfer of a large backup set (let's say, 20GB in size) gets disrupted during transfer, the files sit in the server repository for the client. This requires manual intervention and the danger of running out of disk space. How about giving me some controls so the ftp can be restarted?
