  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

MS SQL database server name not showing up!

Hello,

I have Plesk 8.3 running on a Windows 2003 server. I had upgraded the Plesk license once to include SpamAssassin etc. However, I was not satisfied and I went back to the normal Plesk Unlimited Domains license without the add-on license. Now, I find the MS SQL Server database list has vanished! I mean, I can see it in the server components; it is running on the server; and yet when I try to add a new database the MS SQL Server option doesn't show up. Can anyone help me out with this? What do I need to do?

Thanks in advance,
Saibal.
