• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi,

I am trying to build a template which have Plesk + MSSQL.

First, I have created a MSSQL 2008 express template.
Then, I create a new container and import including

- Plesk 9.5.2 Windows application template
- PowerPack Template &
- MSSQL 2008 express template

Also, installed license key which support MSSQL in PLesk. However, when I try to add a MSSQL. It cannot allow me to connect. When I try to add additional SQL server. Even I enter localhost, IP address with username adminstrator. It also shown this message:

"[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied."

or

"Some fields are empty or contain an improper value."

Although I find some material about MSSQL + PLesk, but it still did not have clear solution shown

Thanks all!!

Are you sure that sql server is really started and corresponding port is opened?

Yes, The SQL services started and I turn off the windows firewall also.
