• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question MySQL Database

Tim Clarke

New Pleskian
I am trying to set up a MySQL database. I am running:

OS ‪CentOS Linux 7.6.1810 (Core)‬
Product Plesk Onyx
Version 17.8.11 Update #54, last updated on May 25, 2019 12:54 AM
MySQL Version 5.5.60

The data is in an Excel Spreadsheet, which I am importing as an ODS file. Everything seems to load in fine, except for the column which contains website links. For some reason, this column is entirely empty apart from the header itself and, for some reason I cannot fathom, one website link! I have tried with and without the starting "http://" and this has made no difference.

I would be grateful for any help.

Many Thanks in advance
Tim

My first guess would be that you're dealing with a character encoding issue or a delimiter issue.

What procedure are you using to convert / import the ODS?

Thanks. It is an Excel spreadsheet that I am simply saving in ODS format. I am using the latest version of Excel.

I am importing through phpMyAdmin; Import; see screen print attached.
