  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Issue MySQL Issues after Plesk Obsidian Upgrade

hostking

Regular Pleskian
Seems after plesk Obsidian Upgrade it gives problems with mysql passwords.

I get this error running plesk repair all -y

Password validation failed. The password does
not meet Windows policy requirements because it is not complex
enough.

Seems to happen with mssql aswell I think:

- mssqlmng failed: Password validation failed. The password does
not meet Windows policy requirements because it is not complex
enough.

Will disable password complexity via Local security policy and see if that helps but strange this is an issue due to upgrade of Plesk.
