  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

MYSQL Question

Basic Pleskian
Hi

I have installed my site with the database and all works grate, but it seams that i cant get access to a give place in the database. : #1044 - Access denied for user: 'keymlux@localhost' to database 'test' so sombody told me to go to the database and send this to it : grant all on test.* to keymlux@localhost identified by 'XXXX';
But when i do that i will get a access error again... what can i do to give me the previlliges i need....

Ahh before i forget the same mean told me that i also can do this :
Log on the server as root.
Type
mysql -p <enter>
rootpassword <enter>
You will then get this :
mysql>
Now type:
grant all on test.* to keymlux@localhost identified by 'XXXt';<enter> You get 0 querie 0 row effected :
Type this :
flush privileges;<enter>
exit<enter>

So my question is where to type that, or is it a better way ??

Regards John
