• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Need debian package files (.deb) for qmail

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

I have a unique problem. People connected to the internet on dynamic IP pools cannot send mail through this server. People connected through static IP pools on the internet can connect and go by their business as regular.

This problem came up after the box had raid harddrives changed recently, with a full backup of the same box put back on the new hard drives.

I'm running plesk 8.0.1 on debian sarge. I need the files for 8.0.1 to re-install qmail. I have tried all options i.e., searched the web, this plesk forum, short of re-installing qmail or plesk.

The website http://autoinstall.plesk.com does not contain the folder for Plesk 8.0.1

Hi,

I suggest you the following way:

download package:
psa_8.0.1-debian3.1.build80061203.19_i386.deb.tar.gz

from
ftp://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Plesk8.0/Debian3.1/

Then uppack it via:
tar -xzf PATH_TO_FILE

The requred package you will find there:
dist-deb-Debian-3.1-i386/base/
psa-qmail_1.03-debian3.1.build80060613.20_i386.deb

So, now you can install it:
dpkg install PACKAGE_NAME
