  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi, I need help on this, if anyone have the same problem please give me some advise, thanks!

I have a abc.com domain, this domain website is hosted in my Plesk, but the email MX record is not pointing here, point to client's another server.

After I upgraded Plesk 9.2.2 and switched my MTA to Postfix, this abc.com domain website enquiry PHP form is supose to send email to enquiry@abc.com, but now is no longer delivery to its own domain, I think the Plesk may think that this domain email is on the same server and so not delivery out from server. But I change the config of the enquiry PHP form to other domain email like hotmail or gmail, it can deliver out with no problem.

Last time Plesk 8 also having this problem, but after I disabled the email service on this domain, it will send out the email to its domain. This problem is only happen again after i upgrade to Plesk 9.2.2 and Postfix.

Please help, thanks!

Hello,

Have you tried to use dig or host commands from the command shell on your server in order to see how the MX record is resolved for the abc.com:

===

dig abc.com mx

===

Also have you tried to send mail messages directly from the command line using /bin/mail utility. Is it delivered?
Also it depends on functions that you are using in you PHP script.

Hi,

Same thing should work here - have you tried disabling Mail service for domain and checking if script tries to deliver to correct mail server this time?

Hi I all along disable the mail service on this abc.com domain. This server still can't deliver any email from the MTA to this domain. Even my other domain 123.com hosted in this same server, trying to use 123.com SMTP to send email to abc.com it still not receive.

I have check with abc.com client server admin, they say no email is reach their abc.com mail server from our server.

Can anyone offer helps here? I dont mind to look for paid service. Please.
