• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New server - no hosting subscription but 21474806.7% CPU usage?

Basic Pleskian
Hi there,

I just set up a new server - there is no subscription active, the only traffic is me via PLESK-GUI and SSH.

But after rebooting the server the CPU usage in the health monitor is always like this:

CPU: 21474806.7% used

Apache CPU usage
715.8 % (?)
nginx CPU usage
0 % (?)
Mail server CPU usage
954.4 % (?)
MySQL CPU usage
953.9 % (?)

Server load is 0,00, id: 100, wa: 0,0

What's wrong there?

I've had this before, it's nothing to worry about. It looks like your server provider has a clustered setup (like XEN) and during the setup your container used up a lot of CPU power. Give it a day and this will have settled down. Health Monitor gets confused with new installations and upgrades sometimes.
