  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue nginx caching stops working randomly

SquanchIt

New Pleskian
Hey guys,

I have noticed that nginx caching suddenly stops working after several hours.

When cache is running the TTFB is at 30-50ms, and when it's not running it's at 1000-3000ms - Byte Check - TTFB Results

Sometimes the problem goes away when I reboot the server and re-enable nginx caching, but it doesn't seem to do the trick this time.

Server details:
  • I am running a WordPress site installed by WordPress Toolkit.
  • The server is Ubuntu 18 running with 1gb of RAM on Vultr.com VPS
  • I installed the server last week
  • I have not modified apache or nginx configuration. Everything is set to defaults.
  • Ran all the updates
  • Only running 1 account / domain

Also, keep in mind, I didn't enable WP Super Cache, as I figured it's not needed because nginx cache is replacing it?

Thanks
