Question Nginx vs Apache in a small limited resources VPS

When dealing with small resources, everything counts.

In your experience, what should I use in a 1core with 1G RAM VPS?

Is this choice of big relevance about performance in the server?

Nginx vs Apache

JFYI: You can't use "nginx only" hosting on Plesk 12.5
Even on Plesk Onyx this mode is incomplete.
Therefore you have a choice between "Apache only" and "Nginx+Apache" hosting.
