• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

No logrotate config will be created

KupperW

New Pleskian
We are using Plesk 10.4.4 MU 28 on a Ubuntu 8.04 64bit Linux.

After creating new abonnements no logrotate config (in /opt/psa/etc/logrotate.d) will be automatically generated. Pressing the save button in the control panel logrotate section generates the config.

This issue with the automatically generated logrotate config is present since one of the latest micro updates. Unfortunately we can't specify the exactly micro update version.

How can we solve this problem? The manually creation of logrotate config via click in the control panel is no solution, because to many abonnements will be generated.

Thanks

We are having the same issue.

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE
10.4.4 Update #36, RHEL 2.6.32-220.17.1.el6.x86_64

It looks like the issue started for us on March 15, 2012. (I could get you the exact MU if there is there is a command to see the install history of the MU updates)

The site is not created here (/usr/local/psa/etc/logrotate.d) at the time the subscription is created.

Any help?

Thanks,
Jon
