  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

No Readings for Bandwidth and Webspace

Hi Guys,
I am new to Plesk and first I would just like to say what an amazing piece of software this is!

But I am having a problem, When I log into Plesk as an Admin, I have a reading for Disk Space Used and Memory Usage (Is this RAM?) however when I look at individual Domain names, all the readings are 0mb! The access logs are populated, but still no readings in the CP and no AWStats. Am I just missing something simple?

Any ideas?

Thanks
V

Most likely you see 0mb under an individual domain because domain statistics has not been updated yet. Try Plesk statistics to renew stat for all domains /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics.

Also note the difference between hard and soft disc quota in Plesk:

http://kb.swsoft.com/en/146

./anb

Hi Thanks for the information. How would I go ahead any execute the Plesk Statistics? And shouldn't this be done automatically?

Thanks

Plesk statistics is been added to root clontab during Plesk installation:

~# crontab -l
7 4 * * * /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics >/dev/null 2>&1

./anb

Hi,
Thanks again for the info, I have added the Crontab under the root user, and For one of the domains I now have Webspace and Bandwidth readings, but another domain only has Bandwidth readings but the webspace is still reading 0mb with over 1.6gb of data!

Thanks again,

V

If it helps, I now only have two items under root contab:

14,29,44,59 * * * * /opt/psa/admin/sbin/backupmng >/dev/null 2>&1

and

7 4 * * * /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics >/dev/null 2>&1

Is there meant to be more?

Hi!

I'm actually having the same problem. statistics not being updated.

system: virtuozzo VPS Ubuntu 6.06 server ed
plesk 8.2.1

my cronjob for

/opt/psa/admin/sbin/statistics

is in /etc/cron.daily.

cron seems to run through the scripts (i did did a test with "echo something > file"), but the statistics don't seem to get updated.
I also started them by myself and that worked without errors....

any suggestions??

Regards

Hi,

Check the cron daemon first. Is it up and running? You could also check the logs reagrding errors. If you are not sure of the errors origin, you could run the stats manually to check.

found the problem!

anacron was also installed and stopped cron from running properly.
uninstall anacron:

*****
root@lvpsIP-ADRESSE:~# apt-get remove --purge anacron

The following packages will be REMOVED:

and that's it....

at least for me; it solved my problems
