  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Basic Pleskian
Hey there!

I just started the upgrade via
https://server:8443/admin/update/product/

It loaded the installer. Then a summary showed up. It informed me about apparmor and some other stuff.
So I stopped apparmor by myself.

" sudo /etc/init.d/apparmor teardown"

I reloaded the upgrade page, with the intention to refresh the information box. Maybe there was other important stuff?
But well... since then it tells me:
Unable to obtain the latest version of Parallels Installer: The required version '3.12.1' was not found on the server. This could happen because of configuration error at the download site. The version 3.12.0 that was downloaded is not suitable for installation of the product you selected.
I googl'ed that but just found nothing about it.

How to reset the upgrade? Or clear the upgrade folder?

Greetings,
onycro

But Igor, what happens with my settings and configurations. It seems like a "new install".
Won't it break my previous install? Is it like an upgrade?

Your problem sounds to a problem of the repo you are picking updates from. Please try this:

Code:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller --source=http://64.131.90.31

My solution was:
1. Execute the panel_preupgrade_checker.php
2. Solve all listed Problem
3. Upgrade wisely:
usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller --source=http://mirror.1und1.de/software/parallels/

Sorry abdi but I trust this company more than an unknown IP.

Onycro, that is Parallels IP address. That is the server ALL the rest of mirrors pick updates from :)
