• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue No WAF icon in Plesk user menu after migration

frg62

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

Configuration:
Debian 8.11
Plesk 17.8.11 Update #45
Web Admin Edition

On this server, I have created a user that can access all subscriptions.
This user can see the WAF (Web Application Firewall) icon in each subscription menu, except for the ones that were migrated from another server.

Yet, if he introduces the correct link for the subscription (something like https://example.com:8443/smb/web-app-firewall/index/id/4), he will go to the desired WAF configuration page.

The difference between the two servers is that on the source server, there is a Web Host Edition, and on the destination server, it is only a Web Admin Edition.

I am guessing that a hidden parameter is blocking the icon display on these migrated subscriptions.
But I cannot find where it is located.

Any idea?

Regards,
François
