• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Old backups aren't removed

fliegerhermi

Regular Pleskian
My disk was running full so I checked if there were unneeded files.
I found several customer-backups that don't show in the plesk backup manager in the clients subscription.
Is there any way to safely and automatically remove them?

In Tools-Backup-Manager->Schedule I set incremental monthly backups and a maximum of 6 month, which isn't activated.
How can I set a time-limit for the clients backups?

Thanks for your help!

PS: How to remove Plesk backup files and their logs
I found this knowledgebase-article. However what happens if I remove a backup, that still exists in the plesk db?
I was wondering if it is safe to exclude the dumps-folder when I run full server backups. 50% of the storage is backups so it doesn't make sense to me to backup Backups....
