• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

once a day, webs stop working until I restart apache and nginx!

Regular Pleskian
CentOs 6.4
Plesk 11.5.30 mu17

Since I applied mu17 I am having problems. At least once a day I get a customer call that his web is not working.

I go and check: all domains show default centos page (not even default plesk page)

Luckily when this happened the first time, support at my hosting company told me what to restart, but this is getting ridiculous, it happens every day now and I don't even know why and the monitoring services don't alert me whatsoever.

What cpuld be the problem?

It's important that you re-generate all your vhosts with

Code:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all

I will try that as soon as I can...

but why does this happen? just because of the mu#17? why does a microupdate break things in this way? will i have to regenerate vhosts after every MU?

server and installation is brand new, not even a month old

oh and: can the reconfigure break anything? most webs are wordpress with heavy customized themes and some scheduled php scripts

my hosting support did a check on the server and also did

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all

now only time will tell if it's stable again.
