    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Issue Outgoing emails rejected by Hotmail!

Hello everyone,

mails from my Website are rejected constantly for Hotmail! I have already tried different configuration on the Mail-Server but it doesn't work.

Following error message from Hotmail:

Some information about Mail-Server configuration:

Mailserver: Postfix
IMAP-/POP3-Server: Dovecot
Post outgoing modus: IPv4 over IP address
Relaying: Authorization necessary, SMTP
Outgoing mails signed: yes

pls. consider to use the SEARCH option of the forum and use words as "SPF", "dkim", "opendkim", "dmarc" "DNS" ( and possible COMBINATIONS of the example - WORDS ) for example - you will find a lot of investigation - methods, as well as suggestions and resolutions.

Pls. use for example => "http://mxtoolbox.com/domain/h2460447.stratoserver.net/" to investigate your current setting on your server.
Or/and consider to use for example the site => "http://www.mail-tester.com/".

Pls. consider to CHANGE the "hostname" ( and "mailname" ) on your server, due to the fact that you are not the owner of the domain "stratoserver.net", which makes it difficult for your to modify/add possible additional DNS - entries for "SPF", etc. I would suggest to use your MAIN - DOMAIN and choose a servername of your choice for it. Don't forget to add an A - entry on your primary nameserver for that domain! ;)

thanks a lot for your quick answers. I know, it is not a problem about Plesk. I was looking for some tips how I can configure in the right was the Mail-Server in Plesk. I am going to check your suggestions and I hope I can solve the problem.
