  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Panel Access to onyl 1.ip and no domain

Cheech

Basic Pleskian
Dear all,

i hope someone could help me here out.

I'm using Debian Squeeze with lastest updates and Plesk 10.4.4 MU26 and i have 2. IPs configured on it.

Now i want that my Plesk Panel do the following:

1. don't react of querys there are comming from the 1st (Public) IP
2. don't react of query about a Domainname

At the moment the Plesk Panel could be seen on both IPs and at all Domains i have with https and :8443

I know i can block the access Inbound to a IP to a special Port.

But i hope someone can give me the files names or Tables i have to configure to get my solution.

I tried already to remove my 2nd IP from the Panel but Plesk removed it from the whole System so sh was also not working.

I find also a How TO for Plesk 9.* but this was for the old Apache Server so no httpd.conf is present anymore.

So i know the Panle isrunning over the folder /usr/local/psa/ i think but i find no file where i can configure an IP for listing.

Thanks in advanced for your help.

Regards
Cheech

There is no official way to set up panel IPs, but you can use firewall to block connections to some IPs.
